One of the court clerks is out on maternity leave. At the work session, a replacement was appointed. The position is full time, yet the replacement is part time. How does that work? The employee appointed is already a part time employee with the town, so does she have two part time jobs making a full time job, or is the other part time job left open for the time being?
And regarding the Parks and Recreation turf care contract on the “regular” meeting agenda, can we assume that it will be organic turf care to conform to town code and protect the children and the water supply? Also, what is the difference between turf care and the grounds keeping for which Parks and Recreation has equipment and employees?
