Putnam Valley Zoning Board Thursday – Tac Peek

aka Oasis Garage – north near the Taconic.  They applied for an operating permit as a repair shop.  It was denied by the building inspector because the use was discontinued for two years.  The owner hired an attorney and got affidavits from people who say they’ve been there.  Residents from the area say it has not been in continuous use.  If you are one of those residents, you should go to the meeting and take your neighbors Thursday for the continuation of the public hearing.  Interestingly, one of the affidavits was from Andy Tumolo of Maple Leaf Associates who says that he was using it to park trucks and repair vehicles.  Was that even a legal use at the time?

Mr. Landi got this right.  This is one public hearing where the public could have some influence.  Think about it.
